"Trump" said London hospital is like 'a war zone' from knife attacks

President Donald Trump compared associate unknown London hospital to a "war zone" on Friday, expression despite powerful gun laws within the United Kingdom, it's blood everywhere the floors from victims of knife attacks.

Trump created the comments in apparent defense of gun possession at the National Rifle Association convention in Dallas.

"They do not have guns. they need knives and instead there is blood everywhere the floors of this hospital," Trump aforesaid. "They say it's as dangerous as a military combat area hospital ... knives, knives, knives. London hasn't been accustomed that. they are obtaining accustomed that. It's pretty powerful."

It's unclear what hospital Trump was relating. however,the BBC according that a trauma operating surgeon at the Royal London Hospital recently told the network that his fellow doctors have compared it to AN Afghan combat zone.
"Some of my military colleagues have delineate their observe here as being like being at (Helmand province's former Camp) Bastion," Dr. Martin Griffiths told the BBC. "We habitually have kids underneath our care -- thirteen, 14, fifteen years recent square measure daily occurrences, knife and gun wounds."
British media shops cited his quotes in stories revealed last month.
Amid the furor over Trump's comments, Griffiths tweeted Saturday: "Happy to ask Mr Trump to my (prestigious) hospital to fulfill with our civil authority and commissioner to debate our successes in violence reduction in London."
London civil authority Sadiq Khan's workplace declined to comment to CNN following Trump's remarks.
